Here's a picture of two Wads from the 3.5" Longbeards in #5s
One choke was the .662 Hevi-choke the other was a.655 Kicks GT. Both wads showed some damage in the very edges of the petals, but with ported chokes I guess that's normal.

Thanks Diesel.  That confirms my suspicion that the wads are different in the 3.5" and the 3" Longbeard XR loads.  Those red wads from the 3.5" loads appear to be thicker than the white ones in the 3" loads I patterned.   That could explain why the Kick's choke didn't tear the petal on those red 3.5" wads.
