What do you guys and gals use to sharpen you knives?? Stone,Ceramic,Diamond boards,Leather strap?? I saw a gal put a super edge on a knife with a belt sander at an farmers market last summer.. Just wondering what you use...
diamond and leather strap
Medium diamond stone then finish with a fine (smooth) Arkansas stone
Best sharpener out there. Expensive, but gets knives sharp in a matter of minutes. Love this thing.

Lansky Sharpening System and leather strop for final edge
Diamond Lansky here. :icon_thumright:
Regular Lansky kit. I have two.
When it gets dull I throw it out and buy a new knife.
No I use a cremaic stone thing that works great.
Diamond, then Arkansas Stone, then Leather
Most of the time a fine stone the leather. rarely will I use diamond unless I am starting an edge.
Lansky is the only way to go

lansky. diamond and arkansas stone. and time.
I have a Smith Table top Tri-Hone, Lansky Deluxe Sharpening System, Lansky Turnbox Crock Stix and a Illinois Razor Strop. Once a knife is sharpened I can usually maintain a shaving edge with the crock stix and razor strop. When truely dull I use the Lansky system and the tri-hone is for large or long knives.
i use Ceramic sticks. puts a razor edge on any knife
