I tried out the Carlson Longbeard XR choke yesterday with 3" #6 shot Longbeard shells thru my Mossberg 835 shot 3 times highest number was 257 pellets in the 10" circle. Lowest was 228. I might could've moved my circle and picked up a few shot but didn't.

that's great...wonder how that choke would shoot the HTL shells? Have you tried it with Hevi 13 or Fed HWT? Not that you need it with those numbers just wondered

I haven't just because I am out of them lol. I shot Hevi-13 with my .675 GT with great results. I do want to try them with this choke just to see. The inside is completely different than the GT and it really liked the 6's. I am hoping to try the 5's this weekend
