Didn't hear any birds. Saturday morning we walked 7 miles. Bumped a group of 3 long beards about an hour after sun up in a field. Hit the road in an had tom tracks in our footprints heading the opposite direction. This bird probably watched us walk by, he walked well over a 1000 yards down the road with no sign of hens.
This morning we didn't hear any birds eithier, we where on a good high area with 3 or 4 finger creeks within a few hundred yards, we traded in the walking boots today and drove a new area. Probably covered 20 miles. Finally bumped some hens from a road. We will get back to walking next weekend

Update. 3-19.
Still barely any gobbling. Walked a chunk this evening. Saw 4 birds, none of them would shock gobble to anything. But they were split into a pair. First of the month they were all together. Season opens in about 9 1/2 hours. As much as I hate birds that don't gobble, I feel good about the morning hunt. Really trying to get a buddy on his 1st spring bird.
