Has anyone changed over from a thumbhole stock to a knoxx with recoil suppression? It's on a remington 870 super magnum? I know it's pretty common on a regular 870. I figured it wasn't a big deal, but sometimes my figurin' gets me in trouble. Thanks in advance.

Its not hard. There are videos you can watch if you have any problems.
I shoot a 870 SM and it came with the straight camo stock and a relatively thin recoil pad. It was brutal after about five rounds. The first time I patterned it I shot about ten or twelve 3.5" #6 Remington Hevi Shot through it and had a nice bruise on my shoulder. I put the R3 Remington recoil pad on it and it did help some, but it still hit harder than I like. So, I put the Knoxx Blackhawk Camo Spec Ops (recoil reduction) stock on it and that has helped a lot. It is still a Supermagnum, and when shooting Winchester Supreme Elite Extended Range 3.5" #6 it still hits pretty good, but nothing like it did originally. Hope this helps.
