I picked up one at the Convention. I ran several of his strikers and the Hickory worked best for me.
This is a slate call you will love.

Wow, so impressive the fanfare this slate is getting this quickly. I wish I could order one and one or both of his  crystals, but unfortunately going to have to wait till next year

I don't want to high jack but, I'm going to order this call, the crystal mistress or twisted sister, this will be my first pot, and I can probably only swing one for a little while, any recommendations?

You can't go wrong with any of those choices. If it's your first pot call you may want to think about the double glass also. It's very easy to run and sounds great. Of the 3 you mentioned I'd probably go with the slate for a first pot.

i would go with the slate too,then like mentioned above the double glass,to me these two run easier and are alot easier to maintain,especially if it your first pot call.all his calls are great but i think these two would be alot easier for someones first,and they sound awesome too.
