So Mississippi will have tags but no stamp, or neither tags nor stamps next year? Confused

MS will have turkey tags in 2025, but no stamp.

20 Gauge Turkey Guns / 870 Compact 18:5”

I've found an 870 Express Compact 20ga. with a 18.5" barrel, which I believe is the newer version. Has anyone tried one?  Is 18.5" too short?  Would we be losing velocity with turkey loads?
