Title: 28g will go again this year
Post by: reflexl on January 24, 2013, 02:00:51 PM
I rotate turkey guns and used the 28 in 2011 to take a really nice bird at 29 yards. DRT. I ordered a barrel from Remington that cost 335.00 with a extra full screw in choke. I ended up using 1oz W-W #5 on it. The gun is light as a feather and a joy to carry.

Sweet! I killed my first one with the 28 last year and I was at the range earlier this week testing some loads with impressive results.  Good luck.

Here is the little turkey popper with a limit of wood ducks. I used the modified barrel on the ducks. reflex264
