do you polish a sbe ii or is it chrome lined?
Chrome lined don't polish
Don't polish, but do clean I think.
I used Butch's Bore Shine last night on my SBE II, and was shocked how dirty it really was :o

You're right on the money. Since Benelli shotguns have chrome-lined barrels, they often look clean when they're not. A good "deep cleaning" really helps, regardless of the product or procedure used.

Here's the procedure I use and recommend. It's simple and it works. http://allaboutshooting.com/article_info.php?articles_id=282

What about an old H&K SBE are they chrome linned?
Yes, the older H&K imported Benellis were also chrome lined.
