After purchasing numerous "custom calls" off of Fleabay, I finally have one worthy of the name. It's a Helm Custom Calls box made up of Eastern Cedar sides, Zebrawood base and Lid with Ebony inlays. It's as raspy as a hen with a hangover!

Darryel Helm is a true gentleman and a box call artist. You can call Darryel and tell him what sound your looking for and he can create the box call to meet your needs. I've got several of Darryel's box calls and hunted w/ a wormy red oak/ checkered walnut lid call from him this morning. I know that both you and the turkeys will like your new call.

Craig- Yeah, I didn't know what sound to expect with the Zebrawood. I was pleasantly suprised. Mr. Helm definitely makes an outstanding call.
