Title: mossberg&sons 410
Post by: fletchy on May 24, 2012, 12:37:04 PM
I'm thinking I'm going to have to go buy a mec for 410 now and buy the tss. My mossberg has a adjustable choke so I could fine tune the constriction on the tss. That just sounds fun to me! My dad has the same gun Ive been trying to re do the gun for him just haven't found a stock yet. He said when he was younger he used a hack saw to open up the slots for the choke so when you tightened the choke cover it was tighter. He said there wasn't a squirrel he couldn't reach!

I don't know anyone who shoots TSS out of an adjustable choke.  There's probably a good reason not to.  You don't need a reloader to load .410 with TSS.  A roll crimping head, hand drill and digital scale are all the hardware you need.  You really don't need a vise, but they are easily made out of scrap plywood and a screw or two.
