Title: 2D decoys
Post by: Iaguntrader on January 15, 2020, 07:47:44 PM
Does anybody have any luck with 2D decoys, like what Montana decoys offer? I'm curious on the success rate and thoughts on them.

I've used Montana decoys. Birds often blew up when they hit certain areas near them. Happened multiple times and never since I switched.  Maybe it was something else but I've never had a reaction like that either without em or w full bodied decoys

I run Big Al's turkey silhouettes and I gotta say, when set up correctly, they WORK.  I run them like the goose skinnies too, leaving about 6 feet between each deke and making sure to vary the direction they're set up in relation to the other ones.  My stepson killed a MONSTER over them the first year I ran them and he was strutting right in the decoys-so close I had to have my stepson hold off until he got out of them a ways because he'd have destroyed my dekes. Lol
