Advice for youth optics

Trying to decide if I should put a scope type red dot or a FF3 style optic on my daughters gun. They're just learning to shoot and they will not be hunting this season but practicing for next. Just wondering if one style might be better than the other?

I have Mentored for a bunch of kids and "new" turkey hunters, I have a scope on the gun and have never had an issue... It's an easy to learn "put the circle on the bottom on the neck and squeeze the trigger" once in range and you have a dead bird.

what he said, I then let mine practice shooting turkey targets with a .22
This is when they were small (6 yrs old) now they still shoot the same scoped guns but they practice with them shooting light loads at turkey targets

The reflex sight will be much lighter and more forgiving of poor shooting form.
