My new go to ammo. I might try them out in 3" when I go back to walmart if I can find them. This was with an 835 in an IC BDS .675 in mid 30s temps and a kinda dirty barrel.
Spectacular. And people wonder why a lot of us have been clamoring for Fed to bring back a quality shell without that darn FCW. The Turkey Thugs are putting up some great patterns. Fed had the Strut Shoks already, but the Thug is a completely different shell, and putting up much better patterns so far.
wow thats a great pattern for lead
Very nice. I am averaging 150ish with the same shell out of my 835 with Jellyhead choke. The only problem we have now is no excuse if we miss. LOL.
Man those shells are producing great patterns . My Walmart is loaded with them. I think I'm going to start stock piling them.
Man, that is a fantastic pattern!
Wally world here I come!

I want to try it with a clean barrel and when its not 35 degrees out ;D I saw a few guys in the 170s+
You miscounted... thats 147. I'm OCD like that lol But still a great pattern!

I'd take that all day. Great Pattern
Well, I'm glad someone is paying attention!
Thats a great pattern!
I think Federal is back in the game!
That pattern will improve quite a bit at 60 to 70 degrees.
I guess I'm gonna have to get a box of these and see what my Star Dot choke will do.
These shells appear to be out shooting the old Fed gold box premiums.
I bought some 3" #6's Turkey Thugs to try in my son's Win 1300. Shot fair with the extra full choke that came with the gun. Then I shot them through my Benelli SBEII with Indian Creek 660 choke. 131 in the 10 at 40 yards. Very even pattern. Wold like to try the 3.5" but definitly my go to shells.
one thing nice about walmart is that if they dont sell them all by the end of season these will all go on clearance who knows what they will be reduced to i know they sure have alot of them now

I have bought some good buys that way.
I can't find the 3" 6s.. When I go do to bama I'm going to check their SG section in Tuscaloosa. They had a ton of stuff last year. My Indiana walmart only has 3" 5s and 3.5" 6s. I've checked two others. I bought a box of 3" 5s today to try out. My 835 was shooting 5s better than 6s until I shot this Federal ammo. Maybe the 5s will do even better? We will see...
