Shot this morning at 40 yards by tape measure. 2 3/4", Fed HW 7, 1 1/4 ounce. 58 degrees, sunshine and calm. 113 in 10" circle. Thoughts?
I say gobble gobble gobble........ BOOM dead bird with no flop.
DUDE! That's a killing machine!!! :camohat:
Put a couple Fed HW 7 3" shells down range today in this Rossi. Average 10" count of 215. Only got 105 in the 10" with one of the 2 3/4" shells today but it was nevertheless a nice, even pattern. The 2 3/4" shells proved to be deadly this past spring, but it will be hard to leave the 3" at home after seeing the patterns today. 90 degrees, no wind and low humidity today.
Played around with some 2 3/4" shells duplexing with TSS 10s and think I have a winner! Got similar results with 2 3/4" Hevi-13 with white wad. Hevi-13 didn't shoot worth a flip with blue wad. Got slightly lower numbers with Fed HW 7s x TSS 10s but still exceeded 200 in 10". Duplexed 1/2 ounce of TSS 10s under 1 ounce of either Win XR 6, Hevi 7 or Fed HW 7.

That should work! I'll be loading some 2.75" 1.125oz TSS #10s this weekend.
