A friend and I asked Albert to build us a Purple Heart over Ambrosia Maple and it turned out great. We sent him the ambrosia maple.
Albert said he had never built this combo, so I guess we are the first to have this combo from him.

Looks real pretty, I like that Ambrosia Maple quite a bit. That and Spalted Maple.

It is not raspy at all, has good yelps and rollover. It is what I would call in between a high pitch and a raspy box. Overall it is a really nice sounding box.

All look great Yelper and after I posted I went to look at mine and was wrong, mine is actually walnut/ambrosia maple. I knew the Ambrosia was familiar looking. How does Lonnie's pH/ambrosia sound Yelper miight have to pick one up lord willing i make it back to see Mr. Mabry?
