Couldn't work a bird the last two evenings, and had this morning off of work.
Got on him this morning! I'd seen this bird last week working his hens and couldn't do anything with him, I watched him go in last night and set up about 50 yards from there. Well he was doing some gobbling and comes out around 150 yards down from me with 3 hens, I talked to them a bit and they worked up to the terrace in the field and started picking their way around, went out of sight for a bit then seen the first hen appear, next thing I see is the Tom coming at lil' Tuffy my DSD and he decided to pick a fight with him... The old 12 barked and game over!!

It's an old Double Bull T2 in Predator Deception, great for a single hunter, weighs in at 12lbs. Like I always say I go with performance not pretty :) Have killed a pile of birds out of it!
Been having some luck, I killed my 5th bird today and called in another 7 for others, been a good year so far :)

Congrats , i have to agree with you those decoys with the white head are a bad combination ....
Is that a typical late season decoy set up for you? The DSD Jake over the mating/lay down hen?

It's more of a mobile thing, when I pack in with blind, seat, camera, gun and decoys I'll bring the Jake. The Strutter can be a bit to carry around. The "breeder" depends on field I'm in. Has to be where she can be seen on the ground easily.
