Title: Choke tube selection
Post by: Laloom83 on January 27, 2018, 02:55:25 PM
Which would you choose for my H&R 10 ga?

Rhino-looks like only one constriction choice

Indian Creek-if so what constriction?

Kicks-if so what constriction?

Also I plan to buy Nitro shells in heavy shot and some with TSS.  Will the chokes above shoot these loads without damage?

Thanks!

Rhino 690 did well with nitro 457 load, with my bps.it did not do well with other loads, I just got nitro tss 8&9 load and indian creek 690, waiting on warm weather to pattern.

Let me know how that Indian creek shoots.  I've heard they are great. Also, did you call Rhino and have them custom make that .690? I only saw a .720 when I looked at the website.

They suggested the 690, just call and talk to them.

Depends what shell you want to rip. If you want to rip your shoulder and rattle your gums......all while knocking a turkey into the next county.......

Shoot - Rhino 720  with MagBlends 2 3/8 oz.

Great pattern. Not as expensive as TSS but pricey.
