My nephew used my Grandfather's/his Great Grandfather's 1925 double .410 this past Saturday to kill his first turkey (first hunt of any kind using a gun/second ever hunting trip).
3" 11/16oz #7.5 at less than 7 yards proved deadly.

Gil, the serial # puts it as manufactured in 1925. It is a Lefever Nitro Special. My Grandfather bought it in high school to rabbit hunt.
