Title: cutting a barrel

i have a 30 in. barrel for a rem. sp 10 the tip got damage threw the mail are there somebody that can cut it down to a 26 in. and re tap the barrel  for the choke tubes  or should i just get a new barrel any help please

the barrel was mine and i sent it out and when they got it  it was cracked at the end it looks like  they hit it up against something real hard at the post office
i did take insurance out on it so that is a good thing i will post pictures later

Turn it in then and get a new barrel. Then have the other one cut down you make out both ways.

rob roberts emailed me back and it will be 115.00 to cut it down

Does that include rethreading?? If so that`s not a bad price.

100 cut down barrel and rethreading and 15 for front sight
