Finally , the snow has melted back and i was able to get out on one of the farms this weekend. They started gobbling right at daybreak and it only lasted for five minutes on the roost. No gobbling after flydown. I slipped in on some gobblers in a swamp that were in full strut doing nothing but the old spit/drum . Watched for awhile and they never gobbled. Temps were in the mid 40's and it was overcast .
