I don't normally make a two piece except for kee and cluck and purr strikers but this turned out nice. It's a hollow snakewood and charcoal laminate.

I've built arrow shaft strikers for years. Started with the old Beaman carbon years ago. Moved on to FMJ strikers. So hollow strikers came to my mind and made sense after making that many arrowshaft strikers. You don't need the inside of the wood striker. As you play the outside edge and all the strength is on the outside anyway. Makes the striker more raspy.

Have never tried a hollow striker (at least all the way to tip) other than wingbone...interesting, thanks for sharing
