Is a Tiger trout a crossbreed? Can't really say that I've ever heard of them.. Mike

I just Goggled it and found that it is a hybrid beween a Brook trout and a Brown trout. Google is your friend..

Definately rare in WV. Prob the only stream born one I'll ever catch.

I have caught two Wild Tigers here in NC Pennsylvania. They are VERY rare in the wild. They only occur in streams that have breeding populations of brook trout and brown trout. Maybe you should play the lottery! Nice fish BTW.
