We had an awesome hunt this morning.  Had 2 groups of gobblers having a gobbling match between each other on the roost.  After fly down I started talking dirty to them and the closest group shut up.  I new one of two things happened either they were on the way or the hen in between us had gone to them.  I shut up for about 15 min and then cut real hard and a turkey gobbled close.  My nephew had his gun ready and could see 2 strutters and another longbeard heading his way.  I was on the other side of the tree so could only see a glimpse of them, but could hear them drumming.  He then pulls up and shoots.  All I can hear is turkeys flying and I look around the tree and Cole had killed a stud.  It doesnt get any better than this. Dead bird by 7:00 am.

1.25" spurs and longest beard stran 11.25"

Oh yeah I made him clean it.
