I know a guy who split a IC choke tube shooting HW's . He then got a IC Non Ported choke tube with no wad catchers in it. It's called The Haymaker !  :icon_thumright:

I did through an IC555.  Averaged around 165 with the 870.  Never had an issue with splitting the choke.

I've got a win 1300 speed pump that I've got an Indian Creek bds .555 in. It shoots federal 7s very well, quite a bit better than a carlson. I haven't put an extensive amount of federals through that choke cause I've been shooting nitro through that gun for several years. The best federal pattern I've ever shot came through that choke and the winchester and I plan on using federal 7s in it when I'm out of nitros. It is really tight in that gun with the heavyweights but I have an H and R pump with invector threads and the Indian Creek preforms poorly in it with almost all ammo.
