Title: Indiana
Post by: HoosierHills on December 06, 2016, 06:17:07 AM
I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, this year. But I am hearing a lot more gobbling this fall than usual. I even got to hear multiple toms fighting right after flydown one morning in the deerstand. Has anyone else been experiencing this? I hope it is a good sign for this spring!!

I hear you Hoosier, I found a gobbler wing feather with the tip all ground off last week deer hunting and kicking around. In a thick cedar flat 200 yds from the house.  Heard some gobbles a few weeks ago on public too and maybe found a back door out on a little scrap of public....I think.  New binos do wonders for these old eyes.  See you in the woods........

Nice, good luck to you. I'm counting down the days till turkey season. Deer and duck season seem like a light snack before a big meal, they just tide me over. I wish I could spring turkey hunt everyday!
