Mike he uses anodized aluminum.  However once lightly conditioned with green scotch brite it doesn't slick up right away like some do.  I'm not a fan of the anodized aluminum in general but this one I like.

I would like say the Jake Naessens pots are great as well.  His walnut glass I got last week from him is as good or better then any other walnut glass call I own.  His cherry aluminum took first place at a competition and he has great prices on his pots.  Scoot

Halloran crystal, Platz slate, Dawkins aluminum, Daybreak ceramic, and Yingling copper are the best of each surface IMO.
