Title: Benelli Vinci/Rhino .660"/Hevi-13 "Old Whites" #6
Post by: HuntSource on April 16, 2012, 11:46:37 PM
Here are a couple shots of my bread and butter load. Still have quite a few of these jewels left in an ammo box. These patterns are the best of the best and under near ideal conditions. Even so, my 10", 40yd average for this load is 178.

I didn't do the 20" on this one, but should've.

There are 70 hits inside on the turkey's image and another 191 hits on the remainder of the 12"X12" target for a total of 261 hits.

I will be shooting the OW #6 out of my 835 this year. Gotta get me a choke. Think I will try a Truglo SSX.

Many thanks to you and others here commenting on the patterns.

Sitting on just over 100 rounds of the #6s. My paper shooting days with them are pretty much done though. Maybe just one or two to ensure it's still shooting where it's looking.  ;D
