Title: .410 this fall
Post by: fallhnt on May 23, 2012, 03:08:11 PM
Was thinking about using a .410 or 28ga. this fall for turkey hunting. I have checked the state regs. and it is a go.I don't know much about shotguns but what do you guys think? Are chokes and loads available? Shots won't go past 20 yrds.

I use a Briley xfull choke in my 28ga.  I would check with them for a choke.  As far as the loads go its going to be hard to find one.  If your shots are going to be less than 20 yards you could probably get away with a heavy field load.  Anything much further you will have to load your own.
