This would be a good idea out of that fixed full choke.  Get you Federal Mag-Shock 3" 2oz #6 shot and I'd bet it will shoot much better than those Remingtons.

I just saw the yardage you wrote on the targets...45 and 50 yards?!! I ALWAYS start at 30 yards after I establish POI with a cheap target load of 7.5's, then move back 5 yards if 3 shots at 30 yards show a good pattern. The patterns are very poor, but I think you are asking way to much of your gun/shell/choke combo anyhow. Give that combo a try at 30/35/40 yards. In my opinion a 40 yard shot shot has always been considered a long shot no matter even if I consistantly put a few dozen pellets in the head and neck.
Lead shooter for life! Know your gun, know your shell, pattern multiple times, know your effective distance, and practice the calls...and the Pb #4's will put 'em down everytime!
