Title: Work in progress
Post by: Jbird22 on March 16, 2015, 04:00:43 PM
I bought a tube from Lyle (Houdstooth) two years ago but never really took the time to truly learn how to run it well enough to hunt it. This year, I've decided I want to learn how to use it well enough that I'm confident enough to try to call a turkey with it. I've tried the green and yellow latex he sent with it as well as some natural colored latex from a glove. The yellow and green seem a little too high on the front end while the natural latex doesn't get high enough on the front. Anyway, here's a quick sound byte from last night with green latex. I already know the yelps are too high on the front end so I've backed off on the side tension to remedy that. Any other pointers, tips, or suggestions are welcomed and appreciated!
