Title: Conditioning question

I have a lights out copper on the way. Never had a copper. What do you guys like to condition copper with?

Lights Out website recommends 320 grit sandpaper.

For me, it's 320 grit Aluminum Oxide Emery cloth for initial rough up then Scotch Brite (I use green) for touching up.

Might be a dumb question but is there enough difference in the green and red scotchbrite pads to matter? Only reason I ask I I've only ever seen the green but then I've usually got a conditioner stick in my vest anyway.
