Jimmy's new prototype crystal over slate and a fresh Atomic 13! The proto is really something else!

Congrats, those are sharp look'n!
Hoping mine are in the mail box, when I get home from work.
The prototype is a really a sound all it's own. The back end is incredibly nasally!
Jimmy makes some really great calls and is one heck of a nice guy as well! Congrats to you! :icon_thumright:
Arrived shortly after the Schaffers! Brad Roberts Blue Mahoe bronzed glass over aluminum.

Another good one, how do you like that mahoe?
The mahoe is smokin' man! I've only had Brad's Poplar bronzed glass/alum and it is night and day. The Poplar is mellow atleast to my ear, but the mahoe is a screamer. Super sweet front with a lot of nasty bite on the back.

The proto sounds good, and I think you described it well. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play around with them much, before seeing the wife pull in the driveway haha.
I will probably get to run them outside, before the week is over. When I do I will make a soundfile of the tiger and send it to you. Jimmy said it was the last piece he had though.
Congrats to both of you!! Great looking calls.
Sounds good! I'd still love to hear it! I will say my favorite striker on the proto so far has been a Lyman dymalux or a snakewood if you really want to bring the rasp. Dymondwood sounds great as well but is a tad too "whiney" for my taste if that even makes sense. I really really like the dymalux though. A Stuckey tulipwood will make it sing as well!
Y'all are making me drool over here!
