What is your favorite 2.75in 12 gauge loads for turkey? Not trying to shoot super far just a good patterning load for my dad to shoot out of a old 12 gauge my grandfather had.

Winchester 2 3/4" XX Magnum 1 5/8 oz. #6 shot. These have not been made for a good while but you may find them at gun shows.
Federal 2 3/4" Premium Turkey 1 5/8 oz. #6 shot. Same with these, not made anymore but check gun shows.
Apex 2 3/4" #9

If your going with TSS, Foxtrot also offers consistent nice patterning 2.75" loads
The old federal premium 2 3/4 6's in either 1 5/8 or 1 1/2 ounce or Win supreme HV 1 1/2 oz 6's. Neither are made anymore but my Win 1200 loves them thru the Rhino choke in .660. I also tried Apex 2 3/4" 2oz. in 8's, threw an amazing pattern but I still have plenty of the Win 6's to last me a while.
Depending on the age of the shotgun I would think twice before shooting any HTL through an older thin walled fixed choke.
My son's old 1100 loves the H13 2.75-1.5-6s, but they're discontinued. We bought the last case we could find. Before switching to TSS, we will probably test out Win Rooster XRs (if they're ever in stock again), since they're available in 6s, while the Long Beard XRs are only available in 5s.
Winchester Rooster XR's is one you might be able to actually find on the shelf right now. It's the same as their turkey load just in a 2 3/4"
IMHO, the best 2-3/4" 12 gauge turkey load is the Foxtrot Mini Twister, 1-5/8 oz of #9 TSS. I shoot these out of my Model 12.
