After becoming a turkey hunter after years of duck hunting, I find that a very enjoyable aspect of our pastime, much like duck hunting, is using and accumulating more calls that we really need, lol.
So, I've noticed a lot of different names and makers who a lot of turkey hunters like to have calls from. Its overwhelming! Is there a good comprehensive book available detailing classic amd modern turkey call makers?
Earl Mickle did three books covering some of the old school classic call makers from the past. Book three had some of the more modern makers of that time. Great books to own and refer back to though now pricey to pick up. Well worth it if you can get all three IMO.
If you can afford them the Mickle books are the ones to have, the only thing close are Turkey Call Collector Guide by George Denka Jr.
Thanks for the responses.
