Specifically the Bushnell TRS-25... Does anybody hunt with one? If so, what are your experiences with it durability wise? I do not throw my gun around or drop it, or anything like that, but I do not want to feel like I have to baby it so it will not get knocked out of sight. Thank you.
I've hunted with a TRS-25 on my Mossberg 12 gauge for the last 4 years never had any problem. Haven't had to resight and still on the first battery.
Just put on on my grandsons new .410.
I hunt with a red dot exclusively...and not any of those expensive jobs. I've never used the Bushnell TRS-25 but do use a Tasco and Truglo. I've never experienced any issues. A buddy of mine uses a cheapie BSA and has never had a problem.
I just want to be able to set my gun down, without having to baby it, and not worry about it knocking it out of sight.

Shouldn't be an issue with the TRS-25
I used one for a couple of years, it never lost zero.
I know some three gun shooters who use them so that means they are durable.
I have a camo one I'll sell at a good price. I switched to a smaller reflex type sight.

Thank you, but I already have one.
I'm looking at several. Send me a PM. Thanks.
I put a Bushnell Trophy Red dot on my Mossberg 835 12 years ago to correct a POA/POI issue. This gun only shoots 3 1/2 inch Hevi 13 shells. It has flown to South Dakota, Kansas and taken trips to Florida twice, Wisconsin numerous times from NC and never lost zero one time since the initial setup. I do change the battery every year, just as a precaution (not necessary as the batteries will last several years). And she continues to perform without any problems at all. I can't comment on the TRS but I have several of their riflescopes on my rifles and haven't had any problems either.
I have a TRS-25 on my 1300 and it withstands the punishment from 12 gauge slugs to 3" turkey loads.
