Title: NY gobbler goes down
Post by: alloutdoors on June 02, 2012, 04:30:29 PM
My first bird of the 2012 season on May 2nd in NY. This hunt almost didn't happen because my alarm never went off but I ended up waking up on my own anyway, but about 40 minutes late. I had to set up on the far side of the field from the birds and I just grabbed my shotgun instead of messing with my blind and bow. In hindsight I probably could have gotten set up with the archery gear but it was still a fun hunt.

I'm in Schoharie County, I hunt several counties in the area and also once in a while out around the Finger Lakes and up in the Adirondacks.

The camera is a Canon Vixia HF G10.
