Title: Buzzard Balls
Post by: wisconsinteacher on January 06, 2014, 09:41:08 PM
I found a new love.  Buzzard Balls!!!!

1 T butter
1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (I used Frank's Hot Sauce)

Heat butter and sauce then cool and add to the items below

2lb of ground turkey
3 egg (beaten)
1 cup bread crumbs
1 stalk chopped celery
1 T crushed red pepper flakes
1 T red wine vinegar
1 t salt

Mix and form into 1.5" balls.
Bake at 450 on a lightly greased pan for 6 min then rotate for another 8-10 or until 160 inside.
Serve with some blue cheese dressing

You can add more heat if you like.  These are like a mild buffalo wing.

I took some to a work party and people hammered on them.  They had no clue it was wild turkey.
