Sup guys second post on here but been lurkin for a while. Was having trouble with my remington 870 w/21" barrel. Decided to clean the barrel using the scott bright pads and WD40. All I can say is it works. The best pattern I got prior to the cleaning was 107 in a 10" circle at 40 yards with kicks .655 choke and longbeards #6. After cleaning it jumped to 223. I tried three different chokes the kicks .655, indian creek .665, and a redhead blackout .660, I cannot remember the numbers for all of them but if you need pics let me know. I tried longbeards in 4,5, and 6 in all the chokes.
how did you rid the barrel of the WD40 afterwards? did you run dry patches until clean or use alcohol?
Scrubbed with hoppes bore cleaner and let sit for 15 min. Afterwards just ran patches till they came out white.
