For ten years I drove by an old, forgotten, barn in Johnson County Indiana. One day the land was cleared out and the barn torn down. The best wood was salvaged but a pile remained behind. I saved a few boards of old maple and pre-blight Chestnut to honor the old barn.
This call was made from a piece of the barn maple, accented with Granadillo and matched with an Orion series striker. The call was donated to the Johnson County Gobblers NWTF banquet this year to help raise some money.
I am just glad to help my Chapter in a tough year! Thanks.
