I shot it this morning and put at least 80 in the 3" at 40 yards.

Oh yeah. That's why the star dots are so popular.

But actually not much room for error with that pattern.

Original Stardot or new version?  That is one BAD pattern at 40.  That pattern will take a head off at 20 but not very forgiving at close range.

Sorry I thought this shot was at 40.  That is a great pattern at 25 Reflexl.  Is this an original Stardot or the latest from Colonial Arms?

This is an original .676 Stardot. The gun is scoped so not much problem with that pattern being that tight. That gun and choke has killed around 30 longbeards.

Best I can figure there are around 290 pellets in that 3" circle. That load has 450 pellets and there are somewhere around 160 in the expanded group.
