Just picked up a spur ridge aluminum call . whats the best striker that works on that surface .
a lot of different kinds of wood will work each, call is different and you would about have to try them,with that said,a dads rainbow laminant sounds extra good on all my aluminum calls.also you could also try dymond wood,and purpleheart.
Diamondwood and snakewood are good.
A Jay Ritchie two-piece (Walnut top, Purpleheart dowel) is impossible to beat for the price! I run it almost exclusively on my Mabry aluminum. Other than that, I like Dymondwood, Snakewood, Yellowheart, and Canarywood.
All of the ones named above plus White Oak and Tigerwood.

Yep....those are the winners! If you really wanna reach out there...throw you a one-piece purpleheart striker as well on it :turkey2:
I got a Long Wormy Persimmon Striker works great on my aluminum calls.
