This is my first combo of classic Butternut/Walnut in a fiddle box. It plays a little softer and subtle, but man it's all turkey. This one will get a lot of vest time come Spring. TJ has been using some softer wood for lids and he's got it figured out. Man, he is making some good calls.

Congrats on the great box!
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
Over time...they come to learn how little air a good yelper actually requires. ChesterCopperpot

I have a paddle call from him in that combo. Agree on the soft and subtle but still plenty of power. Top notch box calls.

That's awesome combo , congrats ...

TJ makes consistently great calls!

TJ has a wonderful ear for reproducing the sounds of turkeys on his boxes. I have a couple of Cost calls. It's not even close between my calls from TJ and Neil Cost. Fact. Congratulations on your new box!
