I have a Woodhaven and a David Halloran call but wont use them in the rain . What could you recommend that can get wet and not be damaged ? Have used an old knight and Hale aluminum call that has good volume in the rain for several years but it has seen better days and needs replacing . Would you recommend Aluminum again or Glass ?
I use an Enticer wetone glass with a dymondwood or woods wise mystic (sp) striker.
Ceramic isn't bad either when wet. Strikers? Plastic, fiberglass, carbon fiber are all good.
You can also CA the tip of your strikers. That helps them run wet.
Some also tip strikers with JB Weld to run when wet.
CERAMIC
X 2
Ceramic with a pot that is oilled well to protect it and a waterproof tipped striker

Does this call sound the same as the Silver Fox?
Ceramic works good in this humid Georgia air
I've been looking at ceramic myself for my next pot call. Heard good things about them in the wet rainy Ontario weather...
