Hattaway's Deadly Hen. Second one I've made and quite full of myself over the way this one turned out. Please pardon my vanity.

Impressive! I definitely did not expect the end result from the first picture!
Nice, one more reason for you to put the smack down on that big tom turkey, that will want to get fresh with your little girl decoy.
Very nice looking!!!
Fantastic work!!!
Wow, great job.
That one has two legs!! Looks pretty good
Very nice. Good grief, be careful when you pull the trigger! Too much work to blow that up with the shot! Lol

Thank you. I started this on 1/17/19. Worked 30 minutes here and there after dark in the evenings several times a week and a few hours on a bunch of rainy days which we've had lots of. I'd guess probably 20 hours total, maybe more. I really don't know. Fairly enjoyed it all though.
Good way to pass some time this point of the year. Turned out nice.
Looks awesome!

Well done! :icon_thumright:
That's awesome, I am amazed with your ability!!
That's some real talent. I haven't used a decoy in a few years but if I still used one I'd want it to look like that masterpiece you created.

Congrats, great picture, smile says it all. Awesome when you put the effort into something of your own and it all comes together.
Really nice job bro. Always better when you do it yourself too :z-guntootsmiley:
That's awesome. Congrats. I kinda figured we we're going to see a pic of your creation in action this spring.....

Mastic? The feather detail after the styrofoam forming is most impressive.

Odd question, but how do you prop the fan open like that for pictures? Congrats by the way.

Just a few sticks, dead log sections etc. and a little patience.
Thank you.
Jolene working it again this morning.

It was the kind of hunt you hope for every year, but seldom get to experience. Thanks again, my friend.

Congrats on a killer decoy!
Going to be giving the top decoy manufacturers a run for their money...lol. Congrats

That looks awesome. I love the legs. Imo that makes it look legit versus a stake or metal rod
Called one in for a good friend yesterday morn. An old warrior with some unique features, missing toe and breast feather striping I've never encountered before. Picture does not do it justice but it was very visible in every feather with light angles.
