Title: 2021 My Comeback Season
Post by: VA_Birdhunter on January 17, 2021, 05:28:13 PM
Last year I missed my first spring gobbler seasons in 28 years due to covid.  My line of worked cause me to not be able to leave and my annual leave to be canceled.  I'm so ready to get back in the spring woods.  I'm so blessed to still be alive when so many have lost their lives due to this terrible virus.   It just feels like its been 10 years since I've stood on a mountain top ridge listening for a tall timber Gabriel to sound off.  I was blessed last year to be able to live the hunts my fellow brothers from Kingdom Connection experienced by texting pics and the stories of their successful hunt.  Everyday is still a struggle with this pandemic but each day is one day closer to spring my favorite time of the year.  Got my first vaccine this past week and praying its effective and we can soon get back to alittle normalcy!  God bless

Very sorry you missed it. I actually was able to spend  more time in the woods this past spring and it showed.  Missed our annual duck hunt to Canada (border closed) and missed seeing my Canadian friends we have made over the year.  It will make this year that much sweeter and you will surely enjoy every hunt, regardless of your bag.  God Bless and be safe all.

Brother I'm with ya on missing out spending time with friends in the woods.  Every spring I'm blessed to share the woods with my family ans many close friends in the spring woods.  With my stressful job its a reset and a dose of the best medicine created by my Savior!  Words can describe how blessed I am to get to experience it in the spring! God bless you brother!

I hope you have an awesome season! I had cancer for the 2018 season but 2019 and 2020 were both great. Make it happen!
