After some high winds, cold temps, close calls, blown attempts, and a bobcat ruining a hunt, my son finally harvested one this morning. It took a pair of gobblers about 10 minutes to come in to let him shoot his 2nd turkey of his life.

That's a sweet Tom, I took my little neighbor boy out down south near Chariton and we sat out there all weekend then on Saturday a decent sized Tom walked right out of the timber to our decoys and he blasted it. My little brother on the other hand went out opening morning and sat in the blind for all of 10 minutes when a huge tom walked right out. That's a great tom you must be so proud of him! :drool:
