Title: winchester extended range bismuth
Post by: agent eight seven O on January 25, 2018, 09:26:02 AM
Just seen the new load from Winchester. 1 5/8oz. of bismuth shot in no.5. looks like an interesting load. I really enjoy this time of year.

Thanks for the info. I picked up some Kent bismuth to try waterfowling this year, but I haven't shot any of it yet. I ran the 10 gauge all season and never got around to testing it. The new bismuth pellets are supposed to be a lot better than the old bismuth, a little softer with less chance to fracture. Definitely another option for guys hunting turkey in no tox areas. I have a couple old guns I would like to waterfowl with that I won't shoot steel out of, so I'm excited about these new bismuth shells that have been coming out recently.
