Callmakers, I have some wormy American Chestnut boards that I really got from an old house near my hometown here in WV. I have about 12 feet of boards that measure 2'' thick x 3 3/4'' wide. I wanted to know if anyone had any interest in these boards and if so would be willing to trade a call for some Chestnut.

I would be interested. Not sure if the grain is right to do any box calls, but I bet it would make some handsome pot calls

I think this would be great for box calls..I have quite a bit of it, or I would be interested in trade. Perhaps another time. The grain looks nice and tight and good orientation. Someone should scoop this up.
