Title: Patterning results for BPS and question
Post by: CrustyRusty on April 23, 2013, 10:34:29 PM
I patterned my 20 ga BPS today using a Hevi13 choke and a Tightwad choke.

Averaged 184 with the Tightwad(TW) choke and Hevi #7's
Averaged 154 with the TW and Federal HW#6's
Averaged 120 with TW and Federal HW# 7's

Averaged 162 with Hevi13 choke and Federal HW 7's
Averaged 114 with Hevi13 choke and FHW 6's

So my question is would you guys go with the Tightwad and Hevi # 7's or would you use the TW and the Federal #6's?   Both shot POA and had very even patterns

Barrel clean or dirty? I know the HWT 7's jump about 30 pellets in 10 with a dirty barrel in my gun.
